- ויגש אליו יהודה ויאמר בי אדוני וגו׳ “And Yehudah approached him” What is lowest in the present order, the earth and Yehudah who receives, is rooted highest, first in G‑d’s thought, and its self-nullification comes from that root, the selflessness of thought itself. The wooden Mishkan followed today’s order, the giver above the receiver; the stone Beis HaMikdash foreshadowed the future, when Malchus will become “the crown of her husband” and Yehudah will rise above Yosef.
- וילקט יוסף את כל הכסף הנמצא בארץ מצרים… “And Yosef gathered up all the silver” The love of G‑d hidden in every Jewish soul is the primordial light stored away for the righteous. Sown long ago through Yosef, the “gardener” of Malchus, it need not be created by contemplation, only uncovered, and its root is higher than any love the mind produces.
- ביאור על הנ״ל «شرحی بر مطالب پیشین» در روزگارِ حاضر، پیوند میان ה׳ و اسرائیل همچون نامزدی است: تنها بُعدِ بیرونیِ تورات آشکار است و فرمانروایی (מלכות, Malchus)، «عروس»، در سکوت از طریق صفاتِ عاطفی (ז״א / זעיר אנפין, Z’eir Anpin)، «داماد»، دریافت می‌کند. در دورانِ آینده، بُعدِ درونیِ تورات، פנימיות התורה (pnimiyus haTorah)، آشکار خواهد شد؛ پیوند به ازدواجی کامل بدل می‌شود و عروس برمی‌خیزد تا «تاجِ شوهرش» باشد و از خود ببخشد: «صدای عروس».
آن را در هفت روز بیاموزید یکشنبه تا شَبّوس
ربّه خواست که همهٔ مامارهای پارشای هفته در همان هفته و در طول هفت روز آن آموخته شوند. در اینجا پارشا به هفت بخش با طول تقریباً برابر تقسیم شده است.
