Die Maamarim 2

  1. בעצם היום הזה יצאו כל צבאות ה׳ מארץ מצרים “On this very day all the hosts of Havayah went out” Tzevaos, the Name the prophets used, means that the Infinite Light became one with the created souls and angels of the lower worlds as fully as with the vessels of Atzilus, so that G‑d is called by the name of His hosts. “The hosts of Havayah” who left Egypt are the reverse: sparks of holiness raised up and absorbed into the Name Havayah. Maamar 1.15 Absätze~35 min46 QuellenEnglisch
  2. למען תהי׳ תורת ה׳ בפיך כי ביד חזקה… “So that the Torah of Havayah may be in your mouth” Out of love for the Jewish people, G‑d went beyond His own nature: at the Exodus He held back His mercy to judge Egypt, and in the Torah He contracted His infinite will and wisdom into physical matters. Having the Torah “in your mouth,” day and night, is the answer to that love: making our will like His, beyond our own nature. Maamar 2.10 Absätze~15 min23 QuellenEnglisch
