I maamarim 2
- שמאלו תחת לראשי וימינו תחבקני “His left hand is under my head, and his right hand embraces me” G‑d’s “left hand,” the rejection that a person’s failings arouse above, is itself what lifts him up: from distance comes the boundless love of “with all your might,” and then G‑d’s “right hand,” the Torah and mitzvos, embraces him so that he does not fall.
- זה יתנו כל העובר על הפקודים מחצית השקל… “This they shall give, everyone who passes over among the counted” A Jew’s love of G‑d has two halves: the love born of contemplating G‑d’s oneness, which is commanded, lies within a person’s choice and is required even of one who has sinned (the half-shekel); and the great love that comes from above as a gift, to each soul by its measure, which completes the shekel’s twenty gerah.
Studialo in sette giorni Da domenica a Shabbos
Il Rebbe chiese che tutti i maamarim della parsha settimanale fossero studiati nel corso della stessa settimana, suddivisi nei suoi sette giorni. Ecco la parsha in sette parti di lunghezza approssimativamente uguale.
