I maamarim 2
- לויתן זה יצרת לשחק בו “This Leviathan You Formed to Play With” There are two kinds of tzaddikim: hidden ones, the Leviathan, whose calm, wholly spiritual service reaches G‑dliness itself in a single flight, and revealed ones, the wild ox, whose fervent service through physical mitzvos and festival joy draws divine light into this world. The “hunt” between them in the Time to Come is a mutual elevation, for both are good and each is superior in its own way.
- ביאור על לויתן זה כו׳ הנ״ל An Explanation of “This Leviathan” The hidden tzaddikim, the Leviathan and the fish of the sea, are higher in the order of descent, but the servants who bear the yoke of the practical mitzvos, the wild ox, draw a strength rooted higher still, in Keser. So each raises the other, and in the Time to Come the servant’s level will be revealed as surpassing.
Studialo in sette giorni Da domenica a Shabbos
Il Rebbe chiese che tutti i maamarim della parsha settimanale fossero studiati nel corso della stessa settimana, suddivisi nei suoi sette giorni. Ecco la parsha in sette parti di lunghezza approssimativamente uguale.
